Support Human Rights by stopping all aid to Uganda in response to the "Kill The Gay" bill that would criminalize homosexuality and make it punishable by life imprisonment and or death.
Why is this important?
For the Nations government, that is supposed to under their Constitution protect their citizens, to pass a piece of legislation that criminalizes homosexuality and makes it punishable by life imprisonment and or death is outrageous. In the 2011 fiscal year 527 million dollars went to Uganda and I feel that money should be spent here at home or be sent to countries more deserving.
