State Rep. Matt Lesser (D-Middletown) recently introduced legislation, HB 5330, which would ban hydro-fracking in Connecticut until it can be proven safe. The shale gas boom has helped many across the country get rich in recent years, but hydro-fracking, the process by which the gas is extracted, is almost entirely exempt from environmental regulation. Support this legislation and help make sure Connecticut sends a message that our children's health isn't for sale.
