Stop Fracking in Illinois
Prevent the harm from fracking in Illinois by voting no on the upcoming legislation that would allow fracking. The impact on health now and in the future is a serious issue, not one to try to bury in the ground. Protect our health, our children's health and the health of water, air and earth by keeping the poisons used in fracking out of our state.
Why is this important?
Illinois House and Senate will soon be voting on a compromise bill that would allow fracking in Illinois. I am concerned that we have seen enough evidence of severe harm created by this unregulated industry to cause us all alarm for the future health of people and the environment.
