Pass Steve Cohen's bill, the "John Tanner Fairness and Independence in Redistricting Act" which "emphasizes geographical contiguity and compactness of districts rather than political affiliations." This will eliminate the districts that create radical partisan politicians from shutting down the government or causing other self-serving harm.
Why is this important?
It's time for extreme partisan politics to end, and time to end minority rule by hostage taking and brinksmanship.
