We want the governments of Osceola County, FL, especially the county government to stop using tax dollars to pay the Kissimmee Chamber for dues, events, and miscellaneous contributions, which last year amounted to about a 1/2 million dollars.
Why is this important?
The local chamber is stacked with people who constantly raise money to support causes that help only one party. The local governments have supported the chamber to the tune of a little over $500,000 last year. We want our local government to stop supporting an organization that speaks for less than 30% of the population.
