Stop global warming by creating laws that encourage business to improve our nation's carbon footprint. The United States needs to lead this world out of a catastrophe for our children.
Why is this important?
We need to face up to the fact that we are destroying the world we are living in and start living sustainable lifestyles. When my daughter asks me what the world will look like in 50 years, I have to explain that there will be catastrophic problems unless things change soon. We cannot continue building cars that use gas or electric power plants that use coal, for example. Solar, wind and water need to become our primary sources.
