Stop H1B Visa holders taking American IT jobs

The USCIS.GOV website has this information 'U.S. businesses use the H-1B program to employ foreign workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise in specialized fields, such as scientists, engineers, or computer programmers.'

Yet there are many Computer Programmers and other IT professionals that are qualified and from America who are out of work. Americans should be allowed these jobs before we bring in so many people from other countries. It is about corporate greed in many cases. Companies will no longer spend a dime on new training for new technology for seasoned workers when somebody else can be brought in for a few dollars cheaper. It is not the ethical thing to do. It's not what our parents and grandparents, sons and daughters fight in wars for. Hard working tax paying citizens should have some rights to local jobs.

Why is this important?

The high number if H1B visa holders in American companies, getting good IT jobs when qualified Americans want those jobs.

Reasons for signing

  • I am a US citizen and was fired recently because of new Telugu Manager. Before he joined we had a team of 7 mixed whites, African Americans, Me(Indian American) telugu manage came in and started filling all the Telugu people. Lastly when I was leaving the team was left with 6 Telugu and one white. This is what all the Telugu people are doing. If we don’t take a action now we will be screwed.
