Stop harassing phone calls

The DoNot call list doesn't work. The FTC has no authority to stop the illegal use of the countries landline communication system. The local carriers have the technology to stop these marketing phonecalls, most of which are comming from overseas using the internet, but need congress to pass a law to enable them to implement a blocking system.
We ask that you help sponsor a bill that gives local carriers the ability to block these illegal phonecalls to ever getting on their networks.
