Stop heinous publicity crimes

Enact a federal law prohibiting the publication in any form of the name, image or other identifying information of a person suspected of committing a crime which may provide that individual a sense of notoriety.

Why is this important?

We are all devastated by the tragic murder of little school children in Connecticut. If there is any truth to the notion that such crimes are perpetrated for the purpose of gaining notoriety, then there ought to be a law that prohibits the publication of the name or image of individuals who are suspected of committing them.
