Stop the auto insurance companies from charging a "singles" premium. This is discrimination.
Why is this important?
Did you know that car insurance companies charge higher premiums if you are single? When I called my auto insurance company because they had me listed on the renewal as "married", I was told my premium would increase by $56.00/year. 3 other big insurance companies told me the same thing. No one has statistics showing singles are a higher risk.
