There is a stop-smoking organization named LAQuits.org that has caused undue pain and emotional distress to television viewers. Their 2 commercials show people suffering from smoking related lung illnesses in graphic detail. People who have lost a loved one to various illnesses with similar symptoms are forced to relive the pain of their loss. This commercial is viewed by people of all ages including our children who may have suffered the loss of a loved one as well. Please join me in voicing your disgust and sign this petition. Also, contact your local television and cable channels who air these PSA commercials and their other advertisers to let them know that you intend to take action. Tell the channels how you feel and let the advertisers know that you will not buy their products or subscribe to their services if they continue to advertise on channels that air these horrible commercials.
Why is this important?
