Individual states do not have the power or money to challenge Monsanto's control over our food supply. The people's right to know and have their basic rights protected MUST happen at a federal level!
Why is this important?
When I walk up and down my market's aisles (including my health food stores) I wonder why I am worrying about whether or not the product I select is genetically modified and is safe for my family to consume. I ask "How did this stressful, unnecessary anxiety wrap itself around our food?" Americans should feel confident about the wholesomeness of our food supply.
We need our government at the federal level to step in and stop Monsanto's tyranny!
