New studies funded by the US Navy show sonar testing harms whales and other marine mammals, many of them already highly endangered species. Please tell Californias leaders in Congress and the Senate to take action to withdraw the Navy's permission to conduct sonar war games.
Why is this important?
The Navy is about to cause harm to our whales unnecessarily. Although other petitions against Navy sonar already exist, this petition is directed toward California's Senators and Congress by their own constituency, making it more likely they will respond.
