To: The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate

Stop Overpaying Congress!

The members of the U. S. House & Senate are extremely overpaid for the amount of work they do. Their salaries are far above the majority of their constituents and they have government-funded benefits that far exceed hard-working Americans.
To ensure they reflect the concerns of the taxpayers they are meant to represent, their annual salaries should hereby be lowered to the median income of their district and no longer have the ability to vote themselves pay raises.

Why is this important?

Every member of Congress makes more money than they are worth. To be truly representative of their constituents, their pay should be lowered and they should not have the ability to give themselves raises at taxpayer expense.
