Why should the Congressmen and Senators receive a lifetime salary when they leave office? Also, they shouldn't receive lifetime insurance coverage. They should be held to the same standards as every other American in this country.
Why is this important?
I think that once the Congressmen and Senators leave office that their salaries should stop.
