STOP PIT BULL BAN IN MONTREAL

Read this article for more information on the Pit Bull ban in Montreal http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/pit-bull-dangerous-dogs-montreal-denis-coderre-1.3641450

A woman, 55-year-old Christiane Vadnais, was attacked by a dog. Police believe it to be a Pit Bull but the article didn't state if it was, in fact, a Pit Bull. This doesn't matter, though. Not all Pit Bulls are dangerous. Dogs become mean because of how they are trained. If a dog is abused by an aggressive household he/she is going to become aggressive.

Why is this important?

I started this petition because I don't believe in any form of bigotry whether it's racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, speciesism, and so on. I don't think any species of animal should be pigeon-holed. It is up to us to fight for this cause and I might as well be an activist and help Montreal fight this egregious law.
