Stop Plastic Pollution in Troy

Please enact the Troy Plastic-Free Hudson River Act to reduce plastic pollution (ban styrofoam, plastic straws on demand, fee on paper bags). The bill will save tax dollars by reducing litter and taking a lot of non-recyclable plastic out of the waste stream.

Why is this important?

There is a public hearing and vote on September 5 at 6 PM at Troy City Hall. Plastic pollution is a climate change and litter issue. Troy needs to lead the way.
