Stop S.06779 the Internet Protection Act bill in New York

Assemblymen Republicans James Conte and Dean Murray I urge you to reconsider S.06779 The Internet protection Act. The 1st amendment is what makes this country so great, this bill could cause more problem s then what it is worth and will make people more afraid of coming forward with issues if they feel they will have to put there addresses online. People in American have a right to speak freely without fear of Government or reprisals from Government or people. There are already laws that protect slander if people wish to come forward. The internet must not be a place of fear to have opinions heard. Please I beg for you and other sponsors of S06779 The Internet Protection Act to please reconsider this bad piece of legislation. Yes, we must stop Cyber Bullying but lets not leave people in fear of using the internet. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS THE 1st AMENDMENT AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WHERE WE ARE AND MUST ALWAYS BE FREE.

Why is this important?

There is a bill in the New York State Senate by Republican Assembly men Republicans James Conte and Dean Murray who from now on when you post a comment on a New York Based forum or blog like Buzzfeed.com which is based in New York you will have to include your REAL name and address or within 2 days your post will be terminated. This bill silences people's rights to free speech and the New York Senate Republicans who claim they are for small Government are actually going to have big brother watching you and silencing your free speech rights online. Moveon members should be very concerned about this piece of legislation in the New York Senate. Please sign this petition and call Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York at Phone: (518) 474-8390
Fax: (518) 474-1513. Thank You and please Google Search *Internet Protection act in New York* or *S06779 New York to find out more information on this bill.* THANKS
