STOP SB 47! No LIMITS on our ability to obtain signatures to overturn legislation. Our voices need to CONTINUE to be heard to protect our democracy.
Why is this important?
Senate bill 47 is an attempt to limit the time citizens have to gather signatures and have an issue placed on the ballot. We the People have been successful in getting legislation before all of the people. It is our CONSTITUIONAL RIGHT to hold our elected officials accountable. STOP SB 47. Don't allow the State House to steal our right to petition the State Government to stop legislation that infringes on our free excercise of democracy.
