Shorter University, in Rome, GA , has announced it will require all faculty and staff to disclose their sexual preferences by signing a lifestyle pledge in which they will promise to not condone premarital sex, adultery, or homosexuality. Among other things in the lifestyle pledge, faculty and staff will also no longer be allowed to drink where students could be present, within 6 hours of any college event, or in the general public period. Refusal to sign or violation of these terms will result in disciplinary action, including possible termination.
