Stop Spraying Poison along the Rio Grande

Stop the Department of Transportation from spraying chemical cocktails in our River area!

Why is this important?

Did you know that the Department of Transportation is regularly spraying more than 600 gals of Roundup and other harmful chemical herbicides along Highway 68, a 24-mile Rio Grande River corridor?
I saw it happening and stopped the driver, and got some details on the spraying. Then I asked him if he knew that in this area we have all kinds of migratory birds (including the bald eagle), all sorts of fish and that people swim, raft, fish and live here. This water is used to grow our food.
This River is our Life line. It's the Life line of the entire area and for all the creatures large and small. Water is precious. Water is Life. It needs to be protected, not poisoned.
"Glyphosate may well be the most toxic chemical ever approved for commercial use, as it is now linked to kidney disease, antibiotic resistant bacteria, inflammatory bowel disease, depression, ADHD, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, multiple sclerosis, cancer, cachexia, infertility, and developmental malformations. It destroys the microbiome of humans and plants, which is the root cause of many modern diseases". Ban Round Up In Our Town
