Stop the funding of a State supported private school. Fund the bush schools to give our children a future.
Why is this important?
My children attended public school in the bush of Alaska. They were not able to get the quality of education that children in urban Alaska can. In part to the fact that monies needed by the bush schools are going to a private boarding school in Sitka. The time for Mt. Edgecumbe has come and gone. We want the monies for our sons and daughters to stay at home and not support a private school.
