Stop Taking California's Water

Crystal Geyser's latest plant aims to take water from an aquifer at the base of Mount Shasta in California for export to the Western states and Japan. California is in the throes of a 4-year drought; California's water is a public resource that should not be exploited, especially in a time of extreme shortage.

Why is this important?

California is in a severe drought and every drop of water is needed to sustain the residents, wildlife, fisheries and farms in our state. As a California resident, I am outraged that a for-profit company plans to extract and sell this precious resource. It is corporate irresponsibility at it's worst extreme.
