To: Terry Williams, Mayor
Stop the $15,000 dollar clock
We the undersigned feel that the expindeture of $15,000 dollars of the Township of Spencer West Virginia to place a clock outside the Mayor's office, is a blatant disregard for the true needs of the people of the Township. We feel that the money should be used for things the township really needs. If Mayor Williams insists on having this clock, he should pay for it himself. Should he choose not to pay for it himself, then we respectfully demand that the order be cancelled and the money be returned to the Towns general funds.
Suggestions for alternative ways that $15,000 dollars maybe spent include. Real improvement to the Ruby Bradley Memorial bridge, making the City building more handicapped assicessiable, improving the crosswalks, repairs to the city streets, sidewalks or parks

Why is this important?
This is a blatant example of the wastful spending of taxpayers funds at a local level.
