Take all necessary adminstrative actions to ensure physical safety of UofI students, up to and including increased foot and bike patrols, hiring additional campus police and fully informing the university community of an action plan to stop the assaults.
Why is this important?
To urge action to stop the dramatic increase in random beatings and assaults on u of i campus arising from a gang activity referred to as "knockout", a vicious unprovoked attack by multiple gang members on college students.
