Of all subgroups of citizens in the nation, the one group that has the greatest impact on the entire population of the nation are the elected officials. Because of this ability to affect the lives of all citizens elected officials should be required to prove they are not addicted to nor under the influence of narcotics while in public office.

All federally elected officials be required to take drug tests on a monthly basis.
