Why is this important?
Dick Durbin and Senate Democrats have the power to end th Bush taxes cuts for the top 2% while making our safety net stronger than it has ever been. They have the support of the people, polls and more importantly the election have shown this to be the case. Yet they seem willing to give into the demands of the heads of corporations and the richest among us. Tell them we will not stand for this.
