Stop the effort to mine uranium in Virginia

Mining and milling uranium in Virginia would very likely be harmful to our water and air. Toxic materials could flow in the water supply to other states as well. Toxic dust in the air is of course not containable.

Why is this important?

There is an effort afoot to mine and mill uranium in Virginia. This would be harmful to our air and water quality. Radium and other toxic materials are radioactive and would be almost impossible to contain because of our heavy rains and winds.
