I was shocked when I was made aware of the Pig Wrestling event planned for Wednesday, August 13 at 7:00 PM at the Utah County Fair.
Why is this important?
Wrestling a pig in mud is cruel and in humane and it sends out the wrong message to society. Young people watching this event think that it is okay to abuse innocent animals. Pigs are very sensitive animals and the very act of 4 people chasing them and putting them into a barrel is extremely stressful. The pigs are easily injured and emotionally traumatized. I am asking you to cancel this Animal Abuse.
