Stop the plastic
When I go to Duane Reade in NY they put everything in a plastic bag no matter how small. When I asked the cashier why they put such a small item like a piece candy in the bag they say that at store policy they say that it's store policy to not ask and just put everything in a plastic bag if large companies like Duane Reade could limit the use of plastic bags it could have much more a positive impact on the environment then we could have as individuals.
Why is this important?
This petition is about trying to stop the daily massive dumping of plastic bags into the oceans. I live down the block from the ocean and over the years have seen a dramatic increase in plastic bags both on the beach and in the ocean plastic never goes away
