Stop the poisoning of Kansans water

We the undersigned request the Kansas legislature ban the addition of hydofluorosilic acid to our water supplies. The industrial waste is contaminated with arsenic, mercury, cadmium and lead. The fluoride itself is a neurotoxin that causes retardation, sleep disorders, and brittle bones. The EPA has warned parents not to use fluoridated tap water to make baby formula. Toothpaste manufacturers warn people not to swallow a pea sized amount of their product, or having done so, to call poison control. There is the same amount of fluoride in that pea sized dab of toothpaste as there is in an eight ounce glass of water. The practice of adding fluoride to our water is costly, dangerous and has no health advantages.
