Stop the Privitization of State Prison Systems. Don't let the corporations turn people into profit.
Why is this important?
The Corrections Corporation of America is a for profit prison management company which seeks to gain control of state prison systems asking for assurance from the states to keep the prisons 90% full according to Huffington Post today. This will cost the American People in two ways. First, more people will be imprisoned for crimes which require rehabilitation more than punishment. Second, for each prisoner, taxpayers will be on the hook for huge sums just so this corporation can "turn a nice profit".
