Thirty-Five plus parking spaces that were given to the people of Manayunk by the United Methodist Church are at risk of being sold to a housing developer by Councilman Curtis Jones.
Why is this important?
The residents-maintained parking lot on Gay Street in Manayunk that has provided much needed parking for the neighborhood for nearly 30 years is at risk of being sold to make way for more un-needed houses.
At least 35 more cars will be added to the already overly glutted parking situation in Manayunk.
