The Trans Pacific Pact is an international trade agreeement that will overpower and undermine local, state, national and international laws to protect international companies and their profit at the expense of the people, wildlife and the Earth. The pact will allow corporate rights to priorities profit and corporate welfare, while undermining the laws that are in place to protect our social, environmental and economic rights for the good of life on Earth.
Why is this important?
The TPP is a trade pact that has been in the process of development by a handful of countries that seek to protect corporate rights at the expense of people and the planet. This pact would give corporations multitudes more power than The Citizens United legislation in the U.S. has provided.
