I have always been proud that americans celebrate the nation's’ birthday with families, friends, food and fireworks. Let's stop trump from making july 4th about him. Let’s tune him out, turn him off and go about the day as we always have. Sign the petition and stop his circus.
Why is this important?
Our traditional celebration honored our country. I don't want trump to cheapen our legacy of a free country and further deface the licoln memorial by speaking about himself. President lincoln sought to unite america not divide it as trump has done. If we turn off his shameful appearance , he will lose most of his audience and not get the attention he constantly craves. The media might take note and perhaps help us achieve a greater number signatures from people who agree.
