Stop uranium mining in the Grand Canyon
The plan to do uranium mining in the Grand Canyon watershed of 1.7 million acres can be stopped if we pressure the White House to designate this area immediately as a National Monument. We cannot allow toxic dust and diesel fumes to spoil the Grand Canyon for future generations
Why is this important?
We borrow the magnificent Grand Canyon area from future generations. We cannot allow this 2 billion year old treasure to be forever destroyed by radioactive uranium mining.
This mining plan recently approved by a judge must be stopped.
