Please make it company policy to serve beverages in reusable containers to in-store customers--and encourage "to-go" customers to use reusable travel mugs, as well.
Why is this important?
Ever been to Starbucks, Peets, or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and seen patrons sitting there drinking their coffee in disposable cups, complete with plastic lids and hand protectors??? What a phenomenal waste! Please join me in telling coffee purveyors to serve their coffee to in-house customers in reusable cups! You know, the kind you wash, dry, and re-use. The kind that leaves trees growing in the forest and saves hydrocarbons for more essential uses than plastic lids!
