We must STOP the unfair and overbearing workload for senior carriers in the USPS. A older carrier cannot keep up with a younger, more vibrant carrier esp. when the older carriers have been doing it for 20+ years.
Why is this important?
My mother has worked 25 years for the USPS in the Buffalo area in WNY (Western New York). Hoping to retire after 30 years, she is still treated like a mail carrier half her age and required to work 10-12 hour shifts all because the station she works at has a hiring freeze. The station MUST hire younger mail carriers so that the senior carriers have less of a workload and be able to retire in relatively good health.
