Stop Verizon from "keeping the change."
I think that it is an unfair practice for a huge corporation like Verizon Wireless to keep the money of subscribers for the part of month they have paid for after they switch to another provider. I think that they should pro-rate the last month and pay the subscriber for the part of the month that they provide no service to them. I think they should return their unjust profits to people they have already bilked out of the rest of the month and I think that their claim of operating with the "highest integrity" is very clearly contradicted by their "keeping the change" of all the subscribers that leave.
Why is this important?
Verizon wireless has a policy of keeping customers' money when they leave for another wireless provider. In other words, a multi-billion dollar corporation keeps -rather than pro-rates and returns the money of the days unused wireless service for your last month to the customer. Money taken for no service and their justification is that it is in the fine print when you sign on with them. I think they should have to pay back all the money they have taken in their keep the change policy.
