Stop Voter Intimidation
Republic or Democrat or Independent. It does not matter which party you believe in or vote for. It is our constitutional right to vote for our choice of government officials without fear of retribution or intimidation for our choice. We also guaranteed the right to privacy in our choice. These blatant attempts to intimidate voters by CEOs and Church officials must be investigated promptly in the view of voter intimidation and abuse of power. A CEO insinuating that his employees may lose those jobs if the vote for a certain candidate or a Church official insinuating/threatening excommunication of his parishioners if they vote for a certain candidate is both appalling and the start of the disestablishment of our democracy. The failure to enforce our constitutional rights by the government is fueling such disestablishment. The right of free speech stops with intimidation of others that disagree with that right as it violates others rights. "My rights end where your rights begin". In these cases it is their right to free speech as far as it relates to expressing their opinions, however when one threatens the livelihood or religious freedoms it is no longer rightful but wrongful.
Please express to our government by signing this petition that you believe in our rights that are guaranteed each and every citizen of this great democratic government. Specifically:
• Investigate promptly all reported attempts to suppress our voting rights as in the case of Westgate Resorts' CEO David A. Segal and other reported attempt by certain religious entities.
• Offer a special investigative arm for victims of voting intimidation to contact if they believe they have been wrongfully terminated or treated in any way due to voting preferences
• Restrict companies and religious organizations from requiring employees or members from revealing their party affiliation or voting preferences in any way
• Make voting intimidation a criminal offense or at the least establish stiff penalties and enforce them
• Establish policies and processes to protect ongoing election processes and results from voting intimidation.
• Require all negative voting advertising to make sources of information readily available to the viewing public. Negative advertising without providing the source of their information is a form of voting intimidation. It usually contains doctored text and quotes which intimidate the voter and does not give the voter the chance to verify the negative information.
• Establish stiff penalties for those negative advertisers who fail to comply this requirement especially those who appear within two weeks of the election.
I am sure most of us treasure our constitutional rights and a fair election. That is in jeopardy now in view of these voting intimidation events that have been uncovered.

Why is this important?
Voter Intimidation laws must be enforced by the government. The recent attempt to intimidate the employees of Westgate Resorts not vote for Obama or their jobs may be in jeopardy and previous attempts by some religious organizations to excommunicate parishioners that vote for Obama must be investigated .
