The voting machines in the contested elections used proprietory software. Because the software is proprietory no one can check its integrity without the permission of the creator. The issue undermines the integrity of the electoral process and has the potential to put a leader in place the people did not vote for and can have a bias established in the code. Please establish a law preventing the election software from being proprietory, replace what is, and create an independent agency including members from other countries to insure that all election software has no bias. Why is this important?
I believe that the software used for elections should be created by an independent government agency and needs to be reviewed by impartial parties to insure there is no bias in the software toward either party.
