If you are a Public Office holder who has outside income over $250,000 or are independently wealthly (as many of you are) stop taking tax payers money to pay yourselves salaries & benefits you don't NEED. Start at the top before you start cutting the peoples' benefits.
Why is this important?
Federal, State & Local governments are all financially strapped, yet public officials who are comfortably well to do continue to draw salaries from tax payers' dollars. They tell us to tighten our belts, lay off teachers & first responders & make do with reduced services. Start at the top! Reduce your own salaries or stop taking them if you don't NEED them.
