Stop writing tickets in the illegal parking lot
City of Newburgh is writing tickets for parking over the white line in the parking lot of BOE & Newburgh Free Library. The City is in violation of the City of Newburgh Code. Parking spaces do not meet the required measurements; therefore, they are in violation of their own code.
Why is this important?
The City of Newburgh is passing out tickets for parking over the white lines or if your tire is touching a white line in the parking lot which the Bd of Ed & Newburgh Free Library use. Recently measured, it was found out that not one parking space is within the City of Newburgh's Code for measurements.
Therefore, the City is in violation of it's own Code. How can they legally give you a ticket if the parking space is illegal. Stop writing tickets & return the moneyto those who have already paid for a ticket, which by the way, is $15.
