Strengthen the Voters Right Act
Money should not drive elections. Americans should. Please support restoring the Voting Rights Act by signing this petition and let our Congress and the Supreme Court understand WE the People will not stand for interfering with this basic right!
Why is this important?
If Americans lose the right to elect our representatives then we have lost the country. Free elections by a free people makes for a strong country! The Supreme Court decision of Citizen United seems to have opened the door for our moneyed interests to take over our elections by trying to limit who shares in the right to vote! I hope that Congressmen Fleming and others, from both sides will co sponsor this legislation and give our elections back to "The People."
