Rep. Chaffetz, Strengthen the Voting Rights Act
Every year there are more and more attempts to weaken the voting rights of people. We need clear and strong legislation that secures the right to vote easily and fairly for all, regardless of any differences.
Why is this important?
Add your name as a co-sponsor of the Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2014. When laws are passed or undermined that make it more difficult for any segment of the population to vote, it means someone is trying to influence the outcome of elections by controlling who has an easier time voting. This should concern everyone. It is important that every citizen have an equal opportunity to vote easily. Support strong and fair voting rights reform.
