Strips Searches for Everyone...?
Reach out to Connecticut's State Government to promote the requirement of "reasonable suspicion" prior CT's law enforcement community initiating strips searches. Please don't let our State capitulate to the Nation's lowest common denominator. After all, we are all innocent until proven guilty.
Why is this important?
Recently, our nation's Supreme Court ruled to allow strip searches without reasonable suspicion. A man, on his way to a family gathering, was wrongfully arrested, held in jail for 6 days and strip searched twice. After reviewing the case, the Supreme Court ruled AGAINST Albert Florence, thus reinforcing law enforcement's actions.
