To: The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate
Strong Gun Control
I just sent off this message to my senators and representative.
"Dear (Senator or Congressperson)
I call upon you now to take a leadership role for strong gun control legislation. We cannot go through another tragedy like what happened yesterday in Newtown CT.
I do not subscribe to the lame excuse that "guns don't kill people -- people kill people." This is a disgraceful motto perpetuated by the gun lobby. Please challenge that powerful lobby and do the right thing now.
Let's all contact our senators and legislators to take leadership roles in gun control legislation.
They need to hear from us now.
