Student Borrowers Against Borrower Bailouts
We have borrowed money against our fellow citizens to pay for education, and now we wish to honor our promises to repay our debts.
College educations increase graduates' lifetime incomes significantly. We have benefitted from our loans we want to repay them as promised.
Our nation is already in debt and does not need to offer handouts to the well educated, nor should it encourage people to expect forgiveness for uncomfortable obligations.
We ask that all legislators do not violate existing contracts of repayment to gain popular favor with a bailout.
