Stop the proposed project to bring tar sands from Canada to Portland, Maine, through the Enbridge Trailbreaker Pipeline. Keep the Northeast tar sands-free!
Why is this important?
Because Trailbreaker is an old pipeline and Tar Sands is far more corrosive than other oil, the chances of a spill are almost inevitable. Such a spill would be catastrophic to the watersheds of Maine. New England has the opportunity to take a stand against this and continued climate change.
