Subway should be forced to continue its marketing and advertising partnership with Jared while Jared is in prison and after he is released until Jared is deceased or Subway is out of business, whichever comes first, as a punitive action for either not properly vetting their spokesperson or ignoring allegations against him that they supposedly did know about before they were acknowledged to the public. Only after allegations of Jared's crimes came to light did Subway severe ties with the disgraced pitchman.
Why is this important?
1) A Subway franchisee knew about Jared Fogle's sexual interest in children, and alerted Subway executives. Subway executives ignored allegations and did nothing, and continue to deny advanced knowledge.
2) Subway blames his sexual interest in children on his famous "Subway diet", claiming that the rapid loss in weight led to a "hyper-sexualism".
In light of these two facts, Subway and Jared should remain inextricably associated with one another as a warming about the restaurant chain's amorality.
